Message 186

“By faith (“establish, secure”; mental strength in Yahweh alone) the walls (“join”; mental and emotional attachments to false precepts of the personal will) of Yerîychȏh (commonly “Jericho”; “fragrant”; thoughts bound to physical beauty and material attachments) fell down, after they had been encompassed (consciously surrounded by thoughts bound to the will of Yahweh) for seven (“completion”) days.” (Hebrews 11:30)

The 144,000 know well that every “city” is a “habitation of thoughts”; a collective body that forms every thought and therefore every idea. And of the city of Yerîychôh we come to understand that it is all of those ideas (what one's thoughts are devoted to) that lead a mind to be enamored by the enticements of the material world. Carnal pleasures of course, that go beyond what Yahweh intended for life physical. As He has stated of Himself, “Yahweh does not see (mentally perceive) things as a man (fallen thoughts) sees them; for man [carnality] looks at the outward (physical) appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart (“center of intellect”).” (I Samuel 16:7)

And on an even deeper plain the 144,000 realize that even the “outward appearance” is first a projection within; the personal will's cunning deception, convincing a soul that there is beauty apart from what Yahweh alone declares beauty to be. As it is with false mental perceptions of love, peace, faith and the like, all constructs of the personal will, equated to fool's gold.

The 144,000 understand the fallen will's enticements towards the material plain and they heed the warnings: “Cursed (made unclean) will be the man [thoughts] in front (at the front seat of the conscience) of Yahweh who undertakes to rebuild the city (thought habitation) of Jericho (love of the material).” (Yahshua (Joshua) 6:26)
