shâbar שכר (shaw-bar'); “burst”

lêb לכ (labe); “center of intellect”

“Burst center of intellect”. The 144,000 know it well – they have a very intimate understanding of shâbar lêb, commonly translated as “broken hearted”. Broken thoughts and the idea of them is never something that has translated well to the modern believer. “Feelings” have been equated to those things which come from the physical heart, people often touching their chest when discussing “feelings”, rather then one's processes of thought. We have previously learned that if indeed one wanted the proper Hebrew word that could be translated as “feelings”, it would be the word yâdaʽ ירע (yaw-dah). And yâdaʽ means “Know!” Not a “physical” heart issue, but always a “center of intellect” issue.

Broken heartedness is a mental state and the 144,000 have encountered this mental state often. They perceive it as part and parcel of the path back to total mental unity with Yahweh and Yahshua. And while much broken mindedness comes from disobedience to Yahweh's will, they also realize some matters that bring such a state of mind are not directly correlated to disobedience. Some heart breaks come via the Sovereignty of Yahweh and in these, tears and time bring great clarity.
