Message 34
What would יןסף Yôwcêph (yo-safe') from the root יסף yâcaph (yaw-saf'), meaning "add, augment", have to say about his journey; his race to total unity with the will of Yahweh? He would take us to Genesis 40:14-15 and remind us of the time he sought out "the arm of flesh" for his freedom and safety. He would remind us of the book of ישר Yâshâr (yaw-shawr'), a book referenced at both Yahshua (Joshua) 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18. A book that tells us that because Joseph relied upon man (a representative of one's own mental abilities) for his freedom, "Yahweh extended his time in prison two years." (see Genesis 41:1). Joseph would then take you to Genesis 41:16, where he was again tested by Yahweh, and show you how the two extra years removed another piece of carnality from his mind. When being "remembered" and favored by words of men, he spoke a now deep seated (in his conscience of course) truth: "I can not do it, but Yahweh..." Yes, instead of "Remember me!", it was very clearly, "Remember Yahweh!".
The 144,000 understand all too well what the suffering is intended to bring forth; a permanent fixture to mediate every part and parcel of every thought that enters into their minds. Joseph would also take you to Psalm 81:5-7 and he would whisper to those who were desperate to hear: You are receiving the messages even now and I see those of you who are rushing to read every word of every verse your being given.
